my great grandmother was admitted to the hospital(ICU) on my birthday. i was so afraid. but she became better and was transferred to a normal ward on Thursday. however, she was transferred back to ICU last night.

my family(parents, grandparents) seem to be quite calm and relaxed. They don't show signs of being worried at all. why?? i seem to be more anxious than them. I asked my father today and he told me that they are prepared for her to leave us. What's the point of watching her suffer so much?? He told me that everyone knows that she has had a fulfilling 92 years of life by far, watching not only her grandchildren grow up, but her great grandchildren as well. She has about 10 great grandchildren ranging from 1 to 23 years old.

I realised what my father said was right. She has led a wonderful and fulfilling life. If she were to leave us, we'll know that she's happy and does not have any regrets. I know i'll be sad if she passes away. But i will be able to get over it.
