this has been a long long week.
common test all week.
didnt have mood to study at all(but i forced myself to)
i know that i wont do well coz i didnt study hard enough.
and i was quite distracted while studying.
so i can just imagine how "well" i did.
econs was the last paper today.
thanks goodness common test is finally over.

i'm really miss chingay.
i think we all do.
i'll miss all the trainings, the people, training ground, everything.
i dont remember tearing as i parted from my group memebers last year.
but it seems to be a different case this year.
i wouldnt trade anything for this wonderful chingay experience.
most of the participants this year were formerly from sk.
i mean tell me how often do u get to renew ur friendship with ur kindergarten friends?
and i actually got to meet up with my kindergarten best friend again! (okay dont laugh)
sounds so cheezy. haha.
i saw the change in a few of my group members. for the good of course. =))

anyways, i was studying one night on monday or tuesday when my sister called me.
she told me that my primary school's principal, Mrs Yong, passed away on 25th feb.
i was shocked. the last i heard of her was after i came back to singapore. when she retired.
so the last i saw her was probably in pri 6. a good 6 years ago.
due to common test, i didnt go for her wake. until today.
i rushed down to meet valerie at kovan and we cabbed down to minton rise condo.
i didnt know that it was so near my house that i can actually walk there!!
we didnt know how to express our condolences. (shucks! we should have bought flowers!)
but we went to see her. she passed away at 61 years old of lung cancer.
she looked like she put on weight. i suppose that's a good thing.
meet janice and kelly at the wake, then we headed down to this chruch.
relatively near my house. where we attended the funeral mass.
during the mass, i was really holding back my tears.
i saw many sisters(like sister maria), mrs geh, mrs goh, mrs liu and many other familiar faces.
sidenote: mrs yong's grandson's are damn cute!! they look like they're mixed. the younger boy has very nice big and shiny eyes!! so adorable!! hehe

after the mass, we took the bus back to CCPS with all the other girls.
and we ate coz we were starving!!!!
we ordered one bowl of fishball noodles and one plate of wonton noodles.
its not that we were greedy, the portion's just small.
ate many many fishballs and wontons. i really miss the primary school food.
and its still the same auntie after so many years!! we're her loyal fans. haha.
we chatted about everything, our memories of pri sch, our memories of mrs yong.
all of my pri sch memories came rushing back to me.
i remember her coming to the office in the morning and greeting me coz i was on duty there.
hung around in CCPS for quite some time before leaving.
we were saying goodbye at the end of the overhead bridge when a bus drove by.
and janice, kelly, and val got wet!! janice got it quite badly. haha.
i was gonna say something, but everything happened too fast for me to react.

i came home and sat in my room.
that's when i settled down and i felt so sad.
i started to miss mrs yong.
i cried.
she was a good principal
she was gentle.
she was nice.
she was quiet, but she still showed that she cared in her way.
i may not have been very attached to her, but i could feel the love she had for all us, students.
thank you to mrs yong for everything you've done. whether or not we know it.
you will remain in our hearts forever.
we love you.
